Oh, the lovely things that were uttered on the playground as a kid. I’m guessing this saying is fading away, but it still pops in my head when Jupiter is ever pointed out to me.

I took a late night stroll, and found this pair of planets. An app on my phone identified them, but I spotted the bright shiny things on my own. Saturn is on the left and Jupiter is on the right.

Jupiter is the largest planet in our solar system, and Saturn comes in second. They are the two ‘gas giant’ planets in our system, composed primarily of hydrogen and helium.

My Jack Johnson Pandora station accompanied me on my extraterrestrial nighttime walk. It was a nice back drop to the clear sky. I think I’d like to make a pseudo-regular habit out of this.
