Another Saturday morning, another great outdoor yoga class. I’m really a fan of this.

Sitting on the mat, feeling the rays of the sun. Listening to the teacher’s playlist, which included ABBA’s “Take a Chance on Me.”

I’ve always loved ABBA. It instantly brings me back to my childhood of my parents playing it while they were cooking a pot of chili for supper. Never mind that I despised chili as a kid. But the warmth of those evenings, the scents from the kitchen. I miss those nights.

“Take a Chance on Me” was released in January 1978. I’m happy they strayed away from the original working title of “Billy Boy,” which would have been a head scratcher to me. It became their 7th #1 in the UK. Almost as successful elsewhere as it hit #3 in the US, Canada, and Germany (Thank you Google for the fun info).

I hope everyone has enjoyed their Saturday. The weather was perfect here, and I hope it was there (wherever that is) also.
