Decided to get off my butt and head out into the cold to log some miles on my feet. I wasn’t quite sure how I’d be feeling this weekend after getting covid vaccine #2 yesterday. Thankfully just a minor ache in my arm is all.

It felt good to get some air, regardless of how brisk it might have been. Buddy Guy and his guitar joined me on part of it, to help warm me and keep me going. While his career started in his home state of Louisiana, his career really took off after moving to Chicago in 1957. As a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, he doesn’t seem to be slowing at the age of 84, as he still performs regularly.

Now time to warm myself up. I may be back on my butt now, but I’m happy I got out there.
