Arrived to the airport on what will be a packed next week. IA – NE – CO- TX – NM – AZ – CA – CO – IA. Granted a couple of the states are just for flying, but my feet will be touching the ground in all.
I will get time with my folks (NM). I will get time for CME training (AZ). I will get time for myself (CA).

I hope to document some of the upcoming days. Walks, runs, laughs, beers, food, sunshine. And one of most important things: no work. Rarely do I feel like I can step away, for a day, let alone a week. I will take full advantage this week.
Plopped in my seat at the gate, mask on my face, with $17 worth of almonds and water in hand. My assumption is that they must be magic nuts with their price tag. I am good with starting the journey with magic almonds.
Bob Marley is calmly playing in my ear buds. He’ll join me on the flights as well, as I am in the habit of listening to a select group of artists while flying. I’m guessing this stems from prior nervousness from this form of travel, and it simply grew into a habit that only certain people get to sing to me while airborne.
Boarding in 45 minutes. Enough time to rest the eyes.
