Morning alarm.

2 days in a row with an early alarm, and 2 days of success with rolling out of bed to get outside to exercise. Today was a jog, albeit extremely slow, but still technically a jog.

The sun and clouds were happy I didn’t keep hitting snooze.

I noticed some pretty purple along the way, Musk Thistle. A single plant can produce several thousand seeds, making it hard to control it when it gets into livestock pastures. Although considered a nuisance, I was happy to be able to snap a picture.

Also known by its more colorful name of Bastard Scotch Thistle.

My hope is that this morning exercise business will get easier and easier the more often I do it. At least I am off to a good start this week.
