Before the humidity.

I think it’s getting easier to peel myself out of bed with these earlier alarms. I’m not 100% sure, it might be that I’m just getting good about having the ability to get outside and start exercising while still sleeping.

Today was a relaxing 4 mile jog. I say relaxing because I am trying to fool myself into thinking it was. My hips and feet were not happy with me, as I didn’t consult with them about the idea of a 4:50 am alarm. But we did it!

Mother Nature tends to reward you if you rise before the sun does.

Music joined me on the trek today. Today’s ear candy included a fun little group who met in college in San Luis Obispo, California. Próxima Parada is a band I’ve never heard of before, but Amazon Music thought I might enjoy, and it was correct. Tossin’ My Troubles is a song I recommend, as those are great words to follow. Toss away what doesn’t serve you, that time and energy can be better used. Easy peasy. I wish.

I don’t know much about them, but their apparent love of vegetables and fruit is a positive in my book.

Now time to start the less exciting part of the day and ready myself for work. Too bad I can’t be some crazily gifted athlete to exercise professionally, but maybe it wouldn’t feel as fun or as much of an accomplishment for me if that was my job. I do have the weekly yoga class tomorrow morning in the park, so something fun to looks towards.
